Thank you so much for the tips on how to work more effectively with my lawyer. I really like the fifth tip, which is to ask your lawyer what he expects of you. By asking your lawyer this, you will know what is required of you in your case. Then your lawyer can give you certain things to do that will help him win your case.

Thank you so much for the tips on how to work better with my lawyer. I like the tip to be open with your lawyer. If you are closed to your lawyer, then your lawyer is limited in how much he or she can help. If you give them all the information and continue to be open with them, then you will most likely win your case.

I like the tip of being open with your solicitor.  That way they will be able to help you to the best of their ability.  My uncle does this kind of work and he says the more honest his clients are with them the better their chances are at being successful. http://www.sandersonssolicitors.co.uk/

Wow, these are some really great tips. My sister is going through a divorce and she hasn't ever needed a lawyer before. I really like tip number two about being honest with your lawyer. I think there is this idea in everyone's head that you shouldn't tell your lawyer everything because it could hurt your case. But if you don't tell them everything then it will just end up hurting you in the end.

These are some fantastic suggestions. I completely agree with you: it's so important to be an informed client. It's not good to be pushy or try to force your opinion on your attorney (they do, after all, have the training), but knowing what you want out of the situation can really speed up the process. I think it's great that you included the importance of being honest as well - that's a big one! Thanks for sharing these hints with us. http://www.kyattys.com/

Your first tip was so great because it reminded me that one should be organized before going in to talk with their lawyer. Doing your research beforehand will make the process much easier. I think it all just comes down to open communication and honesty. The more you tell your lawyer, the more they can help you with the specifics of your case. It was helpful for me to remember that you should always keep your lawyer informed on what other advice you are receiving.
